PGBC 20th Anniversary Logo Design Competition Winner Announcement

The Organising Committee of the PGBC 20th Anniversary and the Founding Members’ Institutes are pleased to announce the winning logo design goes to Ms. WONG Wing Sze. Miss Wong is a registered architect in Hong Kong.

The winning logo will be applied alongside the existing PBGC logo in all publicity and promotions of the PGBC 20th Anniversary activities and initiatives. Please stay tuned to the celebration events of PGBC 20th Anniversary!

Design Concept:

• 5 Colors of lines symbolize the 5 Founding Member Institutes in the formation of the Number “2”, as such reflecting the 20 years achievements of PGBC through the collaboration of its 5 founding member institutes

  
  

  (The color is extracted from each of the member institutes’ logo: i.e., HKIA: Black, HKIE: Orange, HKILS: Green, HKIS: Purple, HKIP: Black)

• 4 Colors of lines symbolize the 4 newly joint affiliate Member Institutions’ colorway revealed under the Number “0”

  
  

  (The color is extracted from each of the member institutes’ logo: i.e., CILTHK: Gold, HKICON: Black, HKIFM: blue, HKIUD: red)

• A green leaf is formed inside the intersecting part of the two digits, to emblem that the sustainable built environment can be achieved through the collaboration of both founding and affiliate institutions, which is also the PGBC’s green building vision.
